Each child gets their own instruments and becomes familiar with things like how to listen to certain instruments in a song or basic music vocabulary which is stellar at this age! "Our family loves Midsommar classes in Redlands! Our 4 year old and 2 year old do the music class and they can't wait to go all day! They even ask to go see "Teacher Tess" during the week when it's not Midsommar Day! They don't ask to go to their pre-school, but they do ask to go to music class! We appreciate the fact that Tess really understands kids aren't robots who listen to every direction and are expected to sit patiently and be completely obedient and docile. She's a great teacher and makes classes fun for the kids while introducing basic music concepts so they learn while having fun. Art Camp for my 3.5 y/o son was the perfect week and we weren't ready for it to end. From the moment we walked around the corner to the open grass, my son was excited to be there. The open environment of allowing children to explore the materials and read stories on the blanket created a welcoming space.
